Accounting Specialist
Job Description

Our company is currently seeking “an Accounting Specialist to join our team!
Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Assist the Accounting Department with daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual filings
- Process Accounts Payables insure all bills are paid on time and reconciled
- Process multi-state sales tax filings (IL,WI,IN,TN,OH,KY,CA,WA,AZ)
- Perform payroll functions including calculating commissions for our technicians
- Reconcile credit card transactions
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Assist with Audits
- Assist with Accounts Receivables as needed
- Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management team
- Perform other related duties and participate in various projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- 2-5 years accounting experience required
- 2-5 years QuickBooks experience required
- Multi-state tax law knowledge preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and confident using remaining Office 365 applications
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Available for a 50 hour work week
