Accounting Specialist with our client located in

Lake Zurich, IL . Our client, is a well-established full service landscaping organization. Theyve recently experienced growth in the company and are looking for a highly skilled

Accounting Specialist to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. The company possesses a very team-oriented setting. This Accounting Specialist would be working alongside 2 other individuals in the accounting department and be reporting directly to the Controller. This individual would ideally be able to interview as soon as possible and begin shortly thereafter.
Accounting Specialist Responsibilities:
Reconcile bank accounts
Perform AP and AR functions
Perform billing, collections, and cash applications
Handle AP invoice processing
General ledger account analysis for month-end close
Prepare monthly journal entries
Assist in month/year end close process
Profitability monitoring for management reporting
Qualifications:
3+ years of accounting experience
Experience in QuickBooks highly preferred
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced setting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
