Overview of the Accounting Specialist role:

• This Accounting Specialist reports directly to the Controller
• Responsible for journal entries related to campus events
• Learn and maintain grant processes and funding reporting
• Review and analyze monthly financial results versus approved budget, including working with campus budget managers to create summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 2-4 years related budget/finance experience providing support to multiple units /users within an organization
• Experience with an enterprise resource planning tool
• Strong intermediate to advanced Excel
