We are seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This role will assist with full cycle A/P invoice entry and payment, expense report auditing, and month end close. We are looking for someone who can manage multiple workflows and deadlines to support our clients and staff across the agency.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage Accounts Payable Incoming Traffic
    • Review A/P emails to ensure timely processing of invoices
    • Correspond with Client billing team to resolve invoices with missing or incorret coding
    • Process exception invoice vouchers as needed
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoice vouchers
    • Resolve workflow stoppage with corrective actions
  • Cash Flow Management
    • Review oustanding open payables to ensure vendor payments are processed in a timely manner
    • Prepare 3-month rolling vendor disbursements
  • Timekeeping System
    • Monitoring submissions and compliance
    • Assist employees with system issues
  • Expense Reporting
    • Mastery of client T&E policies
    • Audit expense reports for reimbursement per company policies
    • Ensure receipts are proper
    • Weekly airfare monitoring and support
    • Ad hock reporting
  • Month-End Close
    • Prepare journal entries for month-end accruals and project entries

Qualifications:

Critical Skills:

  • Efficient, detail-oriented, highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Excel mastery, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, advanced formulas, charts, etc.
  • You are a process-oriented individual with an understanding of how data and systems work together
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact within team and across functions
  • Proactive, eager, and willing to learn

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 1 year experience or recent internship
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a meticulous manner

Preferences:

  • Experience working on an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Agency or marketing services industry experience
