As the Accounting Clerk, you will be a part of the accounting department, providing essential administrative support. Join us in this critical role and help us maintain our high standards of excellence.

The following are the essential job functions:

• Enter vendor invoices into the system, including coding invoices to the proper general ledger account and verifying invoices have been approved by the appropriate personnel and any discrepancies reconciled.
• Communicate with vendors on invoice discrepancies and return calls for payment status.
• Add new vendors to the accounting system after verification of the appropriate paperwork.
• Assisting in physical inventories, monthly scrap reconciliation, and inventory management.
• Send out monthly spending reports to managers and assist with cost analytics.
• Complete filing and documentation as required.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
• Cross-train, learn, and support other functions or processes as required.

• Proven ability to multi-task and work at a consistent pace.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail with problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Computer literate.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• An educational equivalent to a bachelor’s year degree in accounting or a minimum of three years of experience in manufacturing accounting.

Job Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Able to work in a seated office environment with extensive time on the computer.
• Able to work on the production floor as required with exposure to mild discomfort from dust, fumes, odors, loud noise, and varying temperatures.
