Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our client’s team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Duties
– Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
– Assist with general ledger reconciliation and account analysis
– Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
– Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end close activities
– Assist with tax preparation and filing
– Conduct research and resolve accounting discrepancies
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
Qualifications
– Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
– Proficient in using accounting software such as Sage 100
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
– Strong math skills and ability to perform calculations accurately
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $26.00 – $30.00 Per Hour
