Berkheimer Tax Innovations, a successful Pennsylvania tax collection and administration company, is seeking an adaptable and motivated individual to join our Bangor, PA team as an Agency Accounting Clerk.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Issue manual disbursements to taxpayers and employers through our Accounts Payable system while following procedures to ensure accuracy and complete the task timely.
  • Prepare and collate monthly client disbursements and the corresponding reports.
  • Research information requests from clients, taxpayers, employers and operating departments and perform related analysis.
  • Prove and reconcile all cash transactions through daily interface with Bank data systems.
  • Perform other accounting, computer processing, analytical and clerical tasks as needed to fulfill work requirements of the Agency Accounting Department.
  • Maintain confidentiality concerning all accounting and tax information in a professional and businesslike manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE + LOCATION:

  • Part-time: Monday-Friday, flexible hours
  • No weekends!
  • On-site in our Bangor, PA office

Requirements:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or
  • Minimum 6 month 1 year related experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Enjoy working with numbers
  • Ability to work independently or within a team

Compensation details: 13-14 Hourly Wage
