With a goal of becoming the most trusted name in premium proteins, we create products for consumers and for retail and foodservice customers around the globe, while changing the way animals are raised for food.SummaryOur Bridgewater, VA facility is actively recruiting for a Accounting Clerk to assist management in the decision making process through, accurate data input to maintain Access Database (production reporting). The preparation of reports based on receiving data: properly tracking of plant production runs and SAP movements. Bringing issues/ problems with production paperwork to the attention of management. Working with Accounting Manager to minimize production reporting errors.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for maintaining the Turkey Access Database at the Bridgewater facility with daily production information (manual input). Maintain Access Database for new items and standard changes (yield, staffing, labor, etc.). Reconciliation of SAP movements to production run information, unresolved discrepancies reported to Accounting Manager.Responsible for SAP reconciliation of production and inventory in Bridgewater.Responsible for accurate input of Turkey production run information from the plant.Assist in SOP Audits and Inventory Audits to safe guard company assets.Responsible for Daily, Weekly, Monthly and YTD reporting of Turkey production (Access Reports and Excel Reports).Backup support for Chicken Production Clerk and special projects as directed by the accounting manager.Minimum EducationAssociates degree in Accounting or Business plus 2-4 years work experience. Requires strong reading, communication, math, writing and analytical skills. Office administration, clerical and computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, Kronos, and other office software.Experience RequirementsIn absence of an Associates degree, total experience equals 5 yearsEnvironmental Factors and Physical RequirementsPosition is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings. May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db. to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility.
