Accounting Associate

Job Description

As part of this role you will:

• Prepare reconciliations for loan and deposit system accounts, Federal Reserve Bank, correspondent accounts, and various other accounts as assigned. Identify and research out of balance transactions and resolve.
• Verify daily BCR reports to supporting documents to make sure all system changes were authorized and correctly changed in the system.
• Prepare and balance weekly Federal reporting.
• Submit 945 taxes semi-weekly along with monitoring and submitting sales and use tax monthly.
• Assist the Accounting team as needed with daily, weekly or monthly duties.
• Provide support to management on assigned projects.

To be successful in this position, we require the following:

• Specialized training beyond high school in accounting, finance, business or a related field.
• Over three (3) years of accounting, bookkeeping or related experience.

The following would be a plus:

• Prior banking experience.
• Associate degree in accounting, finance or related field.
