A logistics company is seeking to hire an Accounting Associate. In this seat, you will be responsible for high volume AP/AR processing. Additionally, this position will involve some foreign currency transactions. The ideal candidate has experience using an ERP and has performed high volume AP and AR processing.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including the processing of invoices and payments
  • Prepare and process journal entries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
  • Manage cash flow and forecasting
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Work with tax providers on tax related reporting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 – 5 years of relevant accounting experience in private equity or similar
  • Experience using an ERP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
