Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Accounting Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in accounting, audits, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles
Communicate with vendors, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve any accounting-related issues or discrepancies
Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred
At least 2 years of experience in accounting, audits, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Manager Plus/Cultura accounting software a plus)
Experience with accounting software is a plus
