ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

• Our client is a dynamic, leading employer in the recreation organization seeking an Accounting Assistant to add to their growing team.

OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT ROLE:

• The Accounting Assistant will contribute to the accounts payable and receivable departments, dealing with invoices and some billing
• The Accounting Assistant will complete regular bank/account reconciliations
• Create and edit journal entries and work within the GL
• Support with other duties as needed in the department

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT ROLE:

• 1+ years of accounting experience, with a good foundation of GAAP
• Hard-working, a quick learner, and a team player
• Microsoft Dynamics experience
• Excel proficiency is required for Accounting Assistant role.
