We are looking for several FANTASTIC Insurance Verification Specialists to join our fully remote team. This position is responsible for verifying dental insurance information for our patients to ensure accurate billing and eligibility. This is a super simple and easy role that requires patience and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify patient insurance coverage by viewing web portals, requesting faxes, and calling insurance companies directly – expectation is 9 verifications per day
- Accurately document verification results in our systems in a HIPAA-compliant manner
- Work closely with your team to conduct breakdowns and manage customer requests on time
- Provide timely updates to the dental team regarding patient insurance status and any necessary follow-up actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Amazing attitude and work ethic!
- High school diploma is required; college degree is a massive plus
- Previous experience in data entry, insurance verification, healthcare, or any related field is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly personality
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and be super productive in a remote setting
- Knowledge of dental insurance policies and procedures is the biggest plus!!
Location: Remote
Salary: $650 per month plus bonus
Type: Full-Time
