• (3) 12-hour shifts
• (4) 10-hour shifts
• (5) 8-hour shifts

Salary:

• Competitive, based on experience with additional pay for CVOR specialization and scrub duties, if applicable.

Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a CVOR Registered Nurse. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN to provide specialized care in our cardiovascular operating room. This position offers a variety of shift options and a start time of 6:30 AM.

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care through detailed assessment, accurate documentation, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop and execute patient care plans specific to unit competencies targeting the cardiovascular patient population.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure effective and quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Kansas or compact state Registered Nurse licensure required.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience is necessary; OR and specifically CVOR experience highly preferred.
• Must hold current BLS certification.
• Applicants should be non-nicotine users, as KU is a nicotine-free facility.
