Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg Cardiac Care

Location: Round Rock, Texas

Shift: 12-Hour Nights, 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM

Scheduled Hours Per Week: 36 (3 shifts per week)

Salary: $32 – $53 per hour

Position Overview:

Join our expansion team, where we are preparing to launch a state-of-the-art patient tower in February 2025. We are seeking experienced Cardiac Med Surg RNs to provide exceptional patient care in our new facility, which will be equipped with advanced medical technologies and expanded patient care services.

Facility Expansion Highlights:

• New 165,000 square foot patient tower including a cutting-edge 11-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Increased capacity in med/surg, labor and delivery, and additional operating rooms and cath labs.
• Upgraded communal spaces and implementation of the latest medical equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for cardiac med surg patients, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Conduct detailed clinical assessments, develop and implement effective care plans, and evaluate patient responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Engage in health education and support for patients, families, and the community.

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Hold a current and valid RN license.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Preferably at least one year of nursing experience, with OR experience highly regarded.
