Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Rate: $27.68/hr – $42.90/hr

Role Overview:

Seeking a skilled Cytologist to join our laboratory team. This role is crucial in the processing and screening of cytological specimens, focusing on detecting cancerous or other pathological conditions. The candidate will work with both gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens, ensuring accurate and efficient testing aligned with our departments high standards.

Responsibilities:

• Screen clinical specimen slides, identifying abnormalities and rendering diagnostic conclusions.
• Participate in Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures to meet compliance with all regulations.
• Perform rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) using tele-pathology during Fine Needle Aspirations.
• Mark abnormalities and ensure detailed documentation for pathologist review.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
