ROLE SUMMARY:

Inspired Online Schools, part of the Inspired Education group, is a transformative group of online schools, including King’s InterHigh, the leading British Curriculum Online School with over 6,000 students globally. King’s InterHigh has been at the forefront of online education, providing a complete online via our state-of-the-art learning portal and offering an excellent education without borders.

As a part of our mission to bring excellence in education to more students in the United States, we are seeking a dynamic and Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts in the USA. This role will be crucial in establishing and scaling King’s InterHigh in this new market. Reporting to the US Executive Principal and working closely with Inspired Online Schools’ Executive Director of Marketing, this role will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive student enrollment, brand awareness and market share in this region. They will work collaboratively with central marketing teams and agencies to execute best-in-class marketing strategies, managing all digital marketing and owning lead generation in the USA.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of navigating the challenges of a new market while driving growth, scaling the business and establishing our brand as a leader in online education in the USA.

This hybrid position is based in the Washington, DC metro area, and in addition to the flexibility of remote work, the Head of Marketing will be expected to come to our office several days a week as needed to engage directly with colleagues and foster strong professional relationships. This position will work closely with our global education team and will involve travel across the US and potentially abroad.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Executive Director of Marketing to establish Inspired Online Schools as a future market-leader in the USA.
  • Thoroughly understand the evolving needs and of Inspired Online Schools students and parents in the USA
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to the unique characteristics and needs of the USA market
  • Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social and traditional media, owning lead generation in the USA
  • Identify and capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities in the American online education sector
  • Identify, develop and nurture strategic partnerships with local educational institutions, media outlets and influencers, as well as B2B partners including Schools, Academies & Educational Agents together with the USA leadership team
  • Manage the marketing budget, measuring effectiveness and optimizing ROI for all marketing initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with local marketing regulations and educational standards
  • Collaborate with product teams to ensure our offerings meet the specific needs of the USA
  • Work collaboratively with the US Executive Principal and the US Head of Admissions to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives, regularly sharing results and best practice updates to develop understanding across the board.
  • Represent Inspired Online Schools at events, webinars, and other outreach activities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Proven track record in launching and/or growing brands in new markets, preferably in the education or technology sector
  • Expertise with digital marketing strategies and tools, developing and managing to KPIs
  • High awareness of the educational technology space and how future trends will impact education.
  • Growth mindset and ‘test & learn’ mentality with excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making ability
  • Flexible, highly-energetic approach and the ability to thrive in a business with a dynamic, collaborative, delivery culture.
  • The ability to work independently where necessary but in a collaborative team environment where appropriate.
  • Cultural sensitivity and experience working in diverse, international environments
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for education and a commitment to the mission of Inspired Online Schools.
  • Ability to travel within the US and abroad.
